the evil within

Evil courses through me
And it's impossible to fight
No one else can see
That it has a grip… and it's far too tight
I shouldn’t have given in
All those years ago
It affects me and all my kin
And now i have sunk to a new low
I want to beat him
But I don’t know how
My chances are grim
It’s almost over now
There is still some hope
Lost in all the shadows
The only way to win is with a rope
As my body falls the darkness only grows
