I Am a Chickadee

A vocalist who flutters around and
willingly whistles throughout the seasons.
A plain appearance, that
conceals her voluminous voice.
She entertains and befriends her audience,
while soaring through life.
Yet, few days pass where she is utterly carefree,
and she must become. . .
A forager who uses invention,
and innovation to build a nest.
A survivalist who refuse to allow
winter weather to freeze her ambition.
An optimist who sings after a storm
to show she remains joyful despite sorrow.
