Change
Yesterday, a light pink I can’t deal with anymore.
Random pictures and drawings were:
taped to the wall.
There were days you couldn’t see the floor –
I covered it with toys and blankets.
My bed covered with puppy dog sheets and stuffed horses.
Now, a soft blue,
and meaningful photographs.
Breyers gather dust and lay untouched.
My bed draped with teal, white, and chevron.
My favorite polar bear lays on top.
Now it is perfected.
