A Puppet Show
I sometimes see the world as a puppet show,
were all puppets under one’s control.
I sometimes see the mastermind,
that is hiding behind.
They twirl you around, and infuriate you sometimes,
but as a puppet, you don’t mind.
I sometimes wish,
they would stop.
Shut me up and throw me off the stage,
before I make a scene, that I will regret.
They make me spit venomous words,
and before I know it the audience are disgusted, astounded
and view me as the villain.
Sometimes words you say,
represent who you are.
But what if don’t mean them?
What if as a puppet, is just the script your mastermind decides to follow
I sometimes see the world as a puppet show,
after the show is done
after the drama is all gone,
you are cast away on an island of desolation, and think
“Why, why did I do that?”
can you guess who the mastermind is yet?
