A life
Simply... overwhelming
A perfect sphere of chaos
Innocence and naïtivity
Hope and laughter
All lost too soon
Replaced by fear
The hopelessness
It's like a young child
Suspended by something
That won't hold long
A thud, and it's cry
Gravity doing depressions job
Clothes pins struggling to hold on
Much as a mother would
Reaching out to a fading child
One who thinks they're worthless
Alone,
Broken,
And in hiding
Yet even when dropped,
That child still stand
Does life
Intensify or dim your fire?
Push through, or give up
Or maybe both
Life
Molding us to who we are
