Sunset/Rise in Kansas
Bright colors
shoot from the sky
An array of
perfect purple
bubbly blue
primrose pink
revealing red and
outrageous orange
spread out through the sky.
The sun a red ball of light,
the largest it is all day happens now.
the dark, fluffy, airy clouds
float over the sun,
causing me to stare in awe.
Even living here,
for fifteen years,
you can never get enough of that
Kansas
sunrise
and sunset.
