I Want To Know Why
Knowledge sticks to some people’s brains easier than others.
I wonder what kind of glue they’re using.
I used to play sports competitively.
And the fire that burned has been unparalleled to this day.
The lady at the dining hall never smiles even when I greet her with all of the enthusiasm that I have salvaged from my long day.
And quite frankly, I am tired of it.
He left despite our long dense history.
I wonder how he is now.
He always chose alcohol over his own family.
I wonder what he chooses now.
I cried during that film.
But it pushed me to face the grotesque.
My roommate accepted me with open arms.
Despite mine always being closed.
