Dear Great Again,
When were we great?
When man felt entitled and empowered by the lack of of decent woman morals
When schools were only for white people and blacks were forced to be property
When education belonged to the man
When KKK rallied to eliminate color
or
now
When children playing outside is threatened by gun shots
When African Americans are held more accountable than Caucasians
When the number of murders surpass 100
When calling police proves more deadly than just handling situations alone
When exactly were we great?
Pledging to a flag every morning since elementary school doesn't diminish the pain of people constantly dying, or being gunned down by man we were taught to trust. It doesn't reduce the number of people killed by someone that they were raised to trust, and it certainly doesn't resurrect anyone that we used to trust.

To be great again we have to have been Great.
