How I Lost My Petals
Days and days, I stay watching
As they continue with their actions
Wondering if they really care
About the effect they have on me
Do they realize what they’re doing
Or are they just living life how they live
I stay watching as the garbage hits the ground
Thrown out of cars, and thrown onto the streets
They know what they are doing
But still live their life
Not worrying about their consequences
And the effect they have on me
So I stay put, day by day
As each one of my petals fall to the ground
Until the day I finally crumble
And soon enough my friends will crumble
And so will this earth
