What happened to class?
May 15, 2017
We used to live in a world,
where manners were valued.
Please and thank you were not a choice,
People spoke in a polite voice.
I am not sure what happened along the way,
Maybe it's the demeaning music or shows
Somehow it has become okay to belittle others.
Since when has being the bully won elections?
Being classless has become cool
Our grandparents would think we're fools.
Our country's arrogance puts me to shame,
But I still would never call people names.
Kindness goes a long way,
Hopefully people will realize this again,
Someday
