I only miss you when

I wake up

and I remember the time when

you were the first thing I saw.

 

I only miss you when

I see the sun,

and I remember our days

spent laughing and smiling.

 

I only miss you when

the sun goes down,

and I remember your warm lips against mine,

kissing me goodnight.

 

I only miss you when

I'm breathing.
