Stumbling.
Who knew walking could be so challenging
We all do it
Everyday of our lives, we walk
But what about the clumsy
Who said it would be easy if you can't keep your balance
If the little things in your path make you trip
Like the pebbles or your shoe laces, or anxiety and self esteem
Why do we trip
Are our shoes too big?
Our feet banging on each side trying to escape like our true selves not wanting to be enslaved to an idealistic world?
But when we do trip and fall
We scrape our knees
Scrape away each time, little by little, heart ache by heart ache
But we get back up
We always do
Brush off our knees and keep going
Keep going until that next pebble pops up, similar to the last
But this time we step over
We tie our shoes with double knots and march on
And when we stumble...we will always get up and keep marching
