The black rose that grew between the cracks- water
How dare you try to water me when my petals are already gone?
My stem shriveled and won’t grow back.
Knowing the meaning of love is something you lack.
How dare you try to water me when my petals are already gone?
Even the sun shining down in my black skin won’t make it even better.
I will never be able to grow in this type of letter.

This poem is from a book of poems that I will be creating on Wattpad by the end of the year. The book will be called The Black Rose that grew between the cracks. It will have poems about love, heartbreaks, growth, feminism, depression and more.
