You feel the strings tied to your heart pulling you down.
You feel that constant tug making it seem like it's ripping out your soul.
You feel your soul’s cries
And you yourself, can’t seem to break those ties.
The ties that brought you misery and pain.
The ties that only caused chaos in your life.
And you’re the only one blind of the truth.
That those ties are like a straight jacket.
You can’t get out, they keep tightening around you.
And that is the one thing that’s driving you to insanity.
The thing that's ripping you from humanity
