Where will the trees be
The trees are swaying because of the wind
And the air is vibrating
But because of machines
Everywhere the roads are being done and re-done
So much that trees get little notice

But they aren’t
And the trees are being demolished so the sidewalks can be
But where will the trees be
When there’s only cracked cement left
