It began like all great stories
At the first glance of enemies.
Tides start bearing down on these two
that can’t stand to be in the same ocean
So, the waves pull them together
Not allowing them boundaries
Until they are put in a whirlwind of glue
Stuck to each other by unending motion
Forcing them to see themselves
And each other in their own reflection
Forcing them to know each other
Forcing their understanding in the commotion
Until they emerge anew
Having each other to survive the seas
