When I see him, I turn blushing pink,
exhilarated and excited.
The sight of new love rushes to my cheeks,
but he said he just wants to be friends.
So then I turn moonlit black,
depressed and defeated.
The light in the distance taunts me,
because he said he just wants to be friends.
