Darkness
She called out in the darkness
Her voice slithered out at night
A twinge of dark
A twinge of delight
She reached out
In the night
Her voice fought like nails
Her bones left in shackles
In the darkness the thunder crackles
She calls out again
Words that make my head spin
I fall to the floor
She slams the door
She grabs my throat
She gives a squeeze
Enough to to cause me to wheeze
I’m stuck to the floor
With shackles galore
I’m trapped
Stuck now
In the darkness
Left with the sinister things she calls out
