The flower was gone
In the split second,
The devil's crimson hands
Grabbed the bud yet unbloomed
Removed the soft petals harshly
Like a hungry tiger on a prey,
Then there was no more of it
Withered before blooming in
The devil satisfied the appetite
The flower was gone!
