sometimes warmth can be a good thing
but other times it can be suffocating
bundled in blankets with warm fuzzy socks and sweatshirts of lovers
comfort like this is something you never want to let go of and you feel the safest you ever have at the scent of your home
then it changes and your safety leaves out of the fire escape
suffocating by the sweater paws of your lovers sweatshirt, are not so loving anymore
you struggle to take it off pulling at the seams and ripping threads trying not to overheat, but that struggle is almost useless because you love them so much
soon it’s just silence as you melt
love can be a fiery passion but the fire could quickly escalate into madness and need for a fire department
