Street Light
Sunset blares in my rearview mirror.
A light switches from green to red
in seconds.
A women crosses the street, hair black as ink.
I stomp on my brake pedal.
She struts with confidence, not even a flinch.
My heart pounds.
I screech to a stop as she throws
a wink my way.
