Her Titles
11/06/99
the Crown of Laurels
lay on her brow
success is her guide
doubt her shadow
named a Victor
before her first breath
when she opened her eyes
the descriptions were set
deemed Pure,
and prophesied Wise,
exponentially did
the expectations rise
granted the title
Keeper of the Keys
they jangle impatiently
she knows not where they lead
and in her center
where the darkness lies
a Sea of Bitterness
is said to preside
while in her future
it’s said there’s a call
that one day be found
the Peace of God
