Do you know?
Do you know
how much fear you are causing?
All the innocent people
having to walk without pausing.
They keep their hands raised,
afraid you might shoot.
They all hold their breath,
and make no sudden moves.
The little girl up front
who is 7 or 8,
looks up at you
with pure fright in her face.
But somehow, someway,
it doesn’t phase you.
You stare at these people knowing
the terrible things you’re putting them through.
Do you feel somewhere
deep down inside,
that the things you are doing
can’t be spiritually right?
All these innocent people
having to walk without pausing.
Do you know
how much fear you are causing?
