Missing
I watch for them.
The breathing from me was endless.
Looking through,
A small wave of wind in the cold woodland.
It wasn’t like this before.
Night as it was, was dark,
A black labyrinth of silence.
It reigned around the glow of the midnight moon.
I look through again.
They’re not here.
My breaths slowly descended into my head.
The pounding of my heart,
The feeling of terror,
Surging into the bloodshot veins.
Broken the bond of my psyche.
Trembles of heartache.
The dim clouds above,
A memento of their presence,
That I was once apart of.

This was based on a suspense story I wrote about a girl who is alone at camp and her parents don't come back for a long time. It shows the fear and suspense on what has happened to them. I also used a lot of discriptive words to make it more suspenseful.
