My Heart Goes Out
I close my eyes
And ship my heart away
To the ones who need it
As I remember the day
My heart goes out
To the discriminated
Who want to be treated kindly
But sare judged for the uncontrollable
My heart goes out
To the discrimantor
Who wants to be important
But put others down to do so
My heart goes out
To the poor beggar
Who begs for help
That not many give
My heart goes out
To the people who pass by
Who want to help
But don’t know how.
My heart goes out
To the little girl
Who wants company
And who everyone avoids.
My heart goes out
To the other children
Who want to be friends
But fail every time
My heart goes out
To the victim
Who wanted to live
But died that day
My heart goes out
To the murderer and his family
Who want the world to forgive them,
But it never can or will
My heart goes out
To the injured man
Who wanted to cross the street
But got hit by a car
My heart goes out
To the drunk driver
Who wants time to reverse
But knows it can’t
My heart goes out
To the harassed girl
Who wants to be left alone
But the man’s not listening
My heart goes out
To the harassing man
Who wants to compliment
But screws up every time
My heart goes out
To the mentally ill
Who wants to be normal
But can’t seem to do so
My heart goes out
To the average
Who want to be more
But don’t know how
My heart goes out
To the bullied
Who want help
But can’t voice it
My heart goes out
To the bully
Who want to feel stronger
But only feel weaker
My heart goes out
To the abused
Who want it to stop
But know it won’t
My heart goes out
To the cruel abuser
Who want to be a better parent
But lose their temper
My heart goes out
To anyone in need
Who need a prayer
But are unable to receive one
