My Bed is Speaking To Me!
This morning something happened.
How could it? Why did it?
All I did was lay down.
How did it hurt?
It finally snapped, and snapped using words.
Last night I laid down,
and my bed told me I’m fat (how rude!)
I weigh the same,
don’t I? (I think I do)
What caused this aggression,
and was it my fault?
For years it has said nothing.
Why does it speak now?
What has changed?
I go in the mirror and what I see,
what I see is horrifying!
I am 100 pounds heavier,
and all I did was eat a candy bar (how?)
What did I do to cause this?
How could this happen? Why did it?
