No Voice

I’m screaming, but nothing comes out.
I look someone straight in the eyes trying to communicate with them.
But nothing.
I lost my voice… but it’s more than that.
Nobody tries to listen,
Nobody tries to understand.
I’m brushed off like a crumb on a t-shirt.
People walk passed me as if I’m not there.
I’m in a different world,
Secluded from the rest of the crowd…
Alone.
