Our world is a temple of judgement, cruelty, and politics
We ring bells of racism, witnessing violence and death
Watching as the tide of sorrow fills the funeral homes
we can no longer use our armour of peace to hide us away from the horror
We sing the song of loss and continue our day
Some wish to leave while some need to stay
And those who leave with their pride
Still wander back to this place we call home
