Flower Crowns and Daisy Chains
Flowers all around,
My hand in yours, making crowns.
We sat for hours.
The sun was rising,
And the birds sang to the sky.
The breeze was playful.
Pink, orange, yellow.
Daisy chains on my fingers,
Flowers in my hair.
My eyes like the sky,
Your eyes like the earth below.
They fit together.
We sat for hours.
It was to be forever.
The sun was setting.
The light fades away
The stars are bright and empty
Their light is colder.
The moon is dark now,
The wind whispers love poems
And now you are gone.
Flowers all around,
Her hand in mine, making chains.
We sit for hours.
