that she broke in a second
it is what it is
It took a long time
to make something amazing
the laughs and giggles
all the time we spent,
didn't matter in the end
it is what it is
the boys were the root
they were all you talked about
is that why you left?
after the words you said
I knew we couldn't repair
it is what it is
I may say that phrase
to restore the shattered heart
but the pain is still there
I cover it up
but it isn't what it is
