Ode to Autumn
The air smells of autumn
Leaves fall off the tree slowly
Apple cider brews
The air smells of autumn
Too much apple in the cider
My eyes sting with tears
The air smells of autumn
I rather smell the pie bake
Leaves crunch beneath my feet
The air smells of autumn
I rather watch the leaves change
Fall represents me

My name is Danielle and I wrote this piece since I am a libra. Autumn is the perfect season, a beautiful balance between warm and sunny with a brisk of wind. Summers have become overbearingly hot and winters have become unusually cold. I wrote this piece to shed light on an under-appreciated season that seems to last for at least 2 weeks every year.
