Sore, dry, red hot sunburned skin
Concrete Pavement heats
Hide quick lone snake
High noon down in Texas now
Find your cool oasis
Sun falls from blue sky
Wading pools cool over town’s folk
Stay out all night.
Light chases the moon
Searing sun wakes, once again
Abandon desert town
