Leaves
The leaves are turning.
People witness their beauty.
I see their slow deaths.
No leaves to be found;
Only the brown, bare branches,
I know they are dead.
There are new, green leaves.
But just a few breaking through.
I like bare branches.
Now, the trees are full.
Blooming with flowers and fruit.
I see new life now.

Leaves are beautiful, but I think many people take them for granted. Also, I mostly see their death, until the Spring comes.
