I am so afraid
That you’ll slip through my fingers
Like flowing water
I stand on the shore
You let the rip tide pull you
You’ve tired of swimming
And I watch you sink
“I don’t want to drag you down”
You won’t let me help
But I’m drowning too
We weren’t meant to sink alone
Don’t leave me shipwrecked
