I.D.K.W.I.A.A
wake up and brush some strangers’ teeth
look in the mirror and don’t recognize her
I don’t know who lies beneath
I was promised the keys to an empire
but instead I lay here feeling empty
and real happiness is all I desire
I act as though everything will be alright
but there’s a sick feeling in the back of mind
that assures me my future isn’t very bright

If you weren't able to figure it out, the title of the poem I.D.K.W.I.A.A stands for "I Don't Know Who I Am Anymore". All this poem is about is feeling lost. It's hard slowly loosing interest in the things you used to love, to the point where you feel really empty inside. It's hard waking up in the morning and not feeling like yourself, or anything at all. Though at times it feels really lonely, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Guess the adults were right... growing up is hard.
