Smile
I wish I tried,
But I just cried.
Staring at the mirror,
I see a girl in tears,
Looking back at her happy years,
When she played,
And when she swayed.
But now everything is such a disgrace;
And the smile…..
That never came on her face.
Wishing deeply she could reverse,
The curses,
And the tears;
back to the innocent,
And the pleasant
Smile.

I went through a very depressing situation and if any other teen was in my place I am pretty sure she or he would have undergone a strong feeling to suicide. I always regret being a bad daughter to my mom and dad. This poem is about how I wish I could go back in time and change things.
