The Moment
Just then, just there, in the middle of nowhere, God decided "I'm going to give Jonathan a happiness he hasn't known in awhile, I'm going to strengthen his faith, I'm going to do something to make him smile." A couple of words was all it took, a sarcastic statement and an innocent look, to make my day, to make me say, I truly was happy on today. God looked down, and froze time for a moment, gave me the reigns, and memory to own it. She looked up at me and the world around me blurred, but God saw fit for clear speaking, and my words were crystal not slurred. The parting of ways, only temporary, the first strike of affection, not imaginary. And now I realized a new way to want, to seek with the heart and ignore what is sought. For I want you, and for now it's a go, maybe in the future this love'll blossom, you know?
