The Seed that Grows Into Integration
Let me date a white woman now
Let me do what blacks don’t do
I will fly and take her too
And both sides will be wondering “how?”
But I’ll explain it ever slowly and loud
Will introduce something that they see as new
Walking with her shoe by shoe
Head held high and head held proud
One day whites and blacks will unite
And upon her head I’ll plant a kiss
Which will grow into race and make things right
Racism will no longer exist
