Rejection
My heart so warm
Your heart so cold
When you said no
My flame you stole
And now I'm frozen
How could I ever warm another?
You still have my fire
What if I find my future lover?
You must not care
About my internal agony
You took my love and crushed it
What am I left to believe?
I've given up on love
Is that what you desire?
Cast all the others away
Because you still have my fire
Pain screams louder
Than my mouth will tell my feelings
And now it's sealed shut
I'm constantly grieving
Maybe there will be a day
When I feel no more pain
But right now I do
You still hold my flame
