The girl she was, the woman she could be
She cries
With tears in her eyes
She's in pain
Slowly going insane
She says she's fine
But she has been saying so since she was nine
She feels as if there is a hole in her heart
But that is only one part
If only people knew that she was a jewel
Maybe they wouldn't be so cruel
She has a mother
Who doesn't love her
And a father
Who has traveled farther
She doesn't know why she is alive
Why can't she just go back to the age of five
She decides to take her own life
Not knowing that one day she would make a great wife
She was a teen
Never mean
This is real
No funny deal
I'm not a preacher
Nor a teacher
I'm only a writer acting as a highlighter
