When The Weather Smiles
There we were with balloons Aalyah, and I.
Sitting in the grass, while looking up to the sky.
We could feel the rain gently slithering down our skin,
Then the traumatic sadness started sinking deep with in.
We heard the rain as it impacted itself against our balloons.
Drip, drip, dripping. We thought we should probably leave soon.
So, we sat ourselves down on a rock underneath the beautiful tree.
Until, my little sister started circling around us buzzing like a little bee.
The tree started swaying with the wind.
Such a beautiful sight. ¨The wind is like a wave on the ocean. Then, I Simpered.
I did not concentrate on the pollution, and sulfur in the sky.
I just thought about how stupendous it would be to fly.
Then, my mom decided it was time for us to leave, so I said goodbye to the beautiful tree.
Now I know the true ways to see life.
Use your eyes for seeking beauty, instead of using your eyes as knives.

I was inspired by a picture of my best friend/sister to write this poem.
