I ride in a cab, brick buildings towering. Neighbors wave.

Amber skies, and the wind flows, kibbeh filling, tempting my nose.

Bloody streets, and torn homes blister my eyes. My country – war torn.

This is written in a Korean Poetic form called Sijo.
