Shattered In My Room

Shattered in my room,

Wrinkled in my bed,

I can’t erase the things I said.

Thought I knew what love was,

But there is no emotion in my head.

You messed with me.

You tried to break in

Because I never gave you a key.

You grabbed a hammer

Took me for granted

My thoughts fell,

My heart broke,

You left me shattered in my room.

I hope people experience the emotion I was trying to portray through this poem.

If this was a story
I would say to wait for the ending
But this is a poem
And poems don't have endings

Hey, I know that feeling of being shattered alone in my bedroom, and I'll say that I was gashed with that hammer right in my heart and I was left to bleed out in my room alone and that person with the hammer was the person I loved. and I wanna say that if you ever need too talk im here I swear
