Red Hood
A girl called by the name of her hair
Not her original
Giving her a title she despises
No one knows about her life back at home
All they know is she prefers to be alone
And yet, she be out there looking for a friend
The ones in the shadows that are left for dead
Or maybe she’s the one being left at the end
But it’s cool cause she’s got herself to keep her sane
Instead of returning to the house of horrors
She traps herself inside an abandoned burrow
She wants to let people in but no one is interested
She wants, no, she needs someone to set her free
So she counts down the days up on the wall
Marking everytime the sun chose to fall
Asleep she tries to catch some Z’s
But she can’t help to feel the gaze of venomous eyes
A man approaching her
He looks mysterious
But he seems like a nice guy
Someone who said he adored
For someone so lonely
She couldn’t say no
So the man walked in
And asked to be buddies
She smiled wide and so did he
Yet his smile was wack
A little pointy and sinister
His eyes beginning to beam
In an instance, she realized what she had agreed
To trying to run, but becoming his snack
Now when she shows her face
The crowd seems to be fazed
But she don’t care
She puts out the sign beware
The scars that come across
Have made her lost
From this day on
She wears that red hood top
With logos to show
Not where to go
And not to mess with her flow
Or else the wolf will come blow

This piece was inspired as I was listening to music. My lyric poem was based off of hearing other people’s raps and knowing how they all debuted by telling their stories. I wished to be like my idols, and because I want to be a music producer when I’m older and start out with something, for I don’t have a lot of the resources needed to create the actual beat, I listened to while writing this. A lot of the end rhymes was mostly for a guide for when I didn’t know how to word a phrase in my head. A lot of this is really a reference to me being little red riding hood. This was supposed to be like the "demented" story of little red riding hood since everyone only knows about her trip to Grandma’s house, but not anything else. This is more of like a alternative story to what happened to her. The wolf is supposed to represent the anger she uses against the people who’ve always avoided her and went against her calling her names and stuff like that. The wolf is actually what comforts her and makes her protected from the negativity of others. The scar is to show how she’s changed and the change has stayed inside unless needed out. The hood with logos is supposed to show how she no longer wants to get messed with and doesn’t care if people want to be her friend because she herself. She's safe inside her own world and doesn't need anyone else
