Blood-Splattered Banner (A More Accurate Anthem)
Oh, say can you see by the fading false light
What so proudly we hail through our rose colored lenses?
Whose evil crimson stripes prevail through violent fights,
Under the trends we use to hide the deaths of the defenseless?
And the children locked away cry themselves to sleep,
While the women are raped, and nobody sees.
Oh, say does that blood-splattered banner yet wave
Over our stolen land and the bodies of slaves?
