Hello California.
One day I’ll eventually be there,
Drowning in that warm ocean air,
Staring at the sea,
With nowhere else I’d rather be.
And that’s the moment when I’ll finally realize,
That I’m over those calm, staring blue eyes.
And then I’m going to create, my own fate,
I hear there’s just something about that air, in the sunshine state.
But, still as I take in the view,
I’ll still be thinking of you,
And the way
That you used to say,
I love you.
I won’t be hearing that anymore,
But I won’t care,
Because I can’t find that shore,
Just out anywhere.
Well now I’m on my way,
Embracing that day,
That I mentioned before.
And now my thoughts they pour,
Out of my head,
And into this lead,
Leading to this postcard.
As I look out my window to the view,
I realize that I’ll never be able to forget you,
But you better believe I’m gonna try,
So leave it at this with no reply.
Hello California.
