Waiting on the Day
Wet flowers on a rainy day
I think of you when the sky is grey
I sit and try to find another way
Not to feel all alone
When you walk you stop and smile at me
You’re the one as far as I can see
But you can’t tell me if you wanna be
A friend or something more
My heart can only take so much pain
Wanna find the reasons
Through all the seasons
Seems love is a lost melody
It’s me against the world and I know it
I’m losing my mind and I show it
Waiting on the day love will find me again
The storm is yet to pass and I feel it
Empty spaces fill my head I can’t seal it
Waiting on the day love will find me again
Again
Still waters when you hear me cry
Don’t need life just running by
If I want it I will have to try
Love myself and spread my wings
So I’m left thinking I can sore
I don’t feel alone anymore
I like what life’s worth living for
Free yourself and let love be
It’s me against the world and I know it
I’m losing my mind and I show it
Waiting on the day love will find me again
The storm is yet to pass and I feel it
Empty spaces fill my head I can’t seal it
Waiting on the day love will find me again
Waiting on the day love will find me again
