What Lies Behind Her Eyes
(Verse 1)
She's all sad
After a horrible day
Doesn't know if she will make it through today
With tears running down her face
And her heart screaming in hate
She wants to cut to drive the sad away
To get rid of her pain on this day
With all the options that come of this
There isn't one that is the best
(Chorus)
She's all down and depressed
Her life is nothing, but a mess
The black mascara is all wrecked
Her wrists are all cut up and red
Her path is fading to black
She finds relief in the attack
She's all down and depressed
Her life is nothing, but a mess
The black mascara is all wrecked
Her wrists are all cut up and red
Her path is fading to black
She finds relief in the attack
(Verse 2)
She can't find any love
All she finds is being made fun of
Her tears are soon washed away
But the blood on the carpet makes a nasty stain
The depression brings her down
Like you see when rain falls to the ground
Which evaporates from the shine
Wear her pain lies the sun will never shine
(Chorus)
She's all down and depressed
Her life is nothing, but a mess
The black mascara is all wrecked
Her wrists are all cut up and red
Her path is fading to black
She finds relief in the attack
She's all down and depressed
Her life is nothing, but a mess
The black mascara is all wrecked
Her wrists are all cut up and red
Her path is fading to black
She finds relief in the attack
(Verse 3)
She takes her name in vain
Her heart that cries in pain
During the mist of all of this
Out of her top drawer comes a shiny .44
The all of a sudden she screams
I can't Take this anymore
And pulls the trigger, but draws a blank
When about to try once more
The boy that loves her flies through the door
And promises her it will get better
She kisses him and holds him soo tight
(Verse 4)
She's getting better by the day
Each time the sunrises there is a smile on her face
A tiny bit she tells herself in the mirror each day I get better as I heal my pain
So out the window with the blade
And to that her path is coming back
No more self inflicted attacks
