Long ago the children cried
Kidnapped and lost in pain
Runing in the deepest night
Life couls not have gained
Women held their babes tight
Feel their motherly pain
Malicious these men came in sight
With their selfish disdain
Night
Night
Darkness consumed
On that sad night
Night
NIght
Darkness consumed
On that sad night
Hate had consumed their lives
Rivers had soon run dry
Love was lost and light was gone
There never was a home
But faith rose up and
Love came through
Forgivness soon prevailed
For God is love and
People knew
By grace he loved them too
Nigh
Night
Darkness consumed
On that sad night
Light
Light
God came through
And forced out the night
