Just Friends/ Forget You
The smile o your face and the blue of your eyes
The kiss of your lips that had me pulled by surprise,
I wish you were here even more than you may think,
But I guess just for now,
We are less than we think.
I asked if you thought this was a fairytale too,
You wrote back to me and said, “I believe too”
But now it just seems like we were stuck in a dream,
And all that we can be, is just friends.
What does this really mean?
Do you have any feelings at all?
You’re still holding my hand when we walk down the hall.
I guess it doesn’t matter if I try again to get you,
Or forget you.
